We have members of our armed services coming home on a regular basis. All too often, these veterans do not get the services they need to transition back to civilian life.  America Helping Heros is a non profit organization that aids in preventing homelessness, unemployment, psychological fallout, and unnecessary physical suffering of those returning home after serving their country. This group helps families transition back to "normal" life after serving. They help by providing mentors, helping with job searches, and they donate money to veterans to help if they are in financial need. Few things could be more rewarding than thanking our troops for their service.

Colonial Chorus Players

If you are intrigued by the performing arts, Colonial Chorus Players could be the volunteer opportunity you are looking for. This non profit organization encourages all community members who are interested in the performing arts to participate in their productions.
