Recipes: Spring rolls

These are not Spring Rolls but they are egg rolls. Very good as a meal themselves.

All ingredients are "to taste" except cabbage and meat.

1 - 2 pkgs egg roll wraps

1 - 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 - 2 bags of cabbage mix

Worcestershire Sauce at least 3 tbsp
Ginger at least 3 tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
salt and pepper

Brown the ground beef and add all seasonings while browning so it soaks into the meat. After it is browned, add the cabbage mix and take off heat. Cover with lid until cabbage mix is tender but not soggy.

Put cooking oil in a pan about 1 inch deep of oil. Get hot and set on med/hi heat. Fill egg roll wraps and fold wrap according to package directions, water helps to hold it closed.

Put egg rolls in oil and let brown turning to brown both sides.

Serve with "La Choy" Sweet n Sour sauce.

Can also make rice for a side dish if necessary
