To make something, you have to invest something, so if you're not going to invest money then you need to invest time, or skills (or both).
You're not going to get to one million in one step - you'll need to earn some cash and reinvest, over and over, to get that far. And to do that you'll need a plan.
How will you earn this money? How can you do it without investing any to start with? What skills do you have to sell? How can you advertise for nothing?
Bartering is a skill that will come in handy if you seriously intend to work your way up to a million without investing any money. I think it could be done though - I read a story recently about a man who bartered his way right up to a house, by swapping things with people. He started off with something like a pencil sharpener, so it can be done.
Who says you can't do the same with a million dollars?
