There are many fun and interesting places to visit, and fun things to do in San Antonio, Texas.  Sightseeing attractions are plentiful in San Antonio, Texas:

The River Walk Streetcar:                                                                                                                                               You can catch any of the VIA public buses and streetcars - at this one convenient, downtown station. You can ride a VIA bus, or you can ride one of the really neat streetcars. Take a streetcar ride while you are there.  The street car ride is one of the tourists' favorite things to do.  The River Walk Streetcar station is located downtown, between Commerce Street and Market Street (near the River Walk), at the junction of Alamo Street.

The Alamo:
Visit the Alamo - while you are in San Antonio, Texas. The Alamo is history.  This is where a small band of Texans, and men from other states, tried to hold down the fort against the Mexican army. There were legendary men fighting at the Alamo, such as Davey Crockett, James Bowie, and William Travis.  The Alamo is located at 300 Alamo Place, Downtown San Antonio, Texas. San Antonio Botanical Garden:
The 33-acre Botanical Garden was founded in 1980. At this Garden, you can see beautiful, formal gardens and display gardens, and a futuristic glass conservatory - with climates that range from rainforest to desert climate. You can also see the Texas Nature Trail, and a carriage house - that was originally constructed in 1896. This carriage house features a restaurant, and a gift shop.
