After obsessively watching the two seasons of Flavor of Love, I couldn't wait for I Love New York to come on. New York was such a huge act in the Flavor shows that it was inevitable for her to get her own show. I don't think New York is 'real' at all but I love her attitude and her mom brings so much drama to the show. I personally think that New York and her mother are putting up a front. They may be crazy but some of the stuff that is said or that goes on seems very scripted or worked out for TV/ratings.
That being said, I Love New York is a great show. Its funny, ridiculous, scandalous, and dramatic. All the makings of a great dating show. I like the fact that these guys are all competing for one woman and that they will do anything for her attention. Ex: Mr. Boston giving her the worst lap dance I've ever seen, 12 Pack putting on a lime green speedo to do Tantra. The lengths these guys will go to win her heart is just amusing.
