What some call karma, or weakness, is only the human free will in action. Through personal thought, decision and choice making – on a moment by moment basis, we decide what events and circumstances enter, or don’t enter, our lives. The choice, the decision, is always left to the individual. We are not puppets on the stage of life. In this world, from beginning to end, we are the creators of our fate, the masters of our existence, the captains of our ships. And we are solely responsible for our actions – not God, not the devil, not Satan – or anything else for that matter but only our selves.
This is the human lot. This is what it means to be human. We think, act and do, and as a direct consequence, we are responsible for the events that unfold in our lives – good, bad or evil – from beginning to end. Yet, curiously, we almost always want to assign blame to something outside our selves for the bad or evil that befalls us. But, we do this, it seems, only when we are “spiritually” weak and immature; when we lack a deep, thorough understanding of the amazing power that we possess to create the circumstances that affect us. We are not as automatons existing in an automaton world. On the contrary, the kingdom of life itself is fluid, pliable – and it shapes and conforms to the direct, individual thoughts, choices, decisions and desires that we each contemplate on a repeated basis, and that we combine with strong feeling and emotion. Because this is so, there is nothing outside our lives to blame for the “karma” that we may think affects our lives, nor for the “weaknesses” that are a part of us.
Since we are responsible for the presumed “karma” or “weaknesses” affecting us, we must understand that, by extension, we also must possess the inherent power and ability to rid our selves of such presumed karma and weakness, or anything else that we don’t like or want to be part of our lives. The choice, the decision to change, to remake or revamp our selves is always ours! Change a thought, and we immediately change the outcome; change many thoughts and personal beliefs about life and our selves – and we change our lives!
This is not as impossible as it sounds. From the thought comes the desire, the action, the decision,
