The Shadow Cast
Tis but the Shadow cast
That longs to feed on grievance past.
Lo that the breath moves or the cloud
The roaring seas crash loud.
Like noise in quiet tempest fill
While farmer at his faithful mill
doth till the soil,
Begetting of the the mothers love!
Thus soothes she the brow aloft
As tempest wanes...
The light;
Sweet truth at last,
Tis but the Shadow cast!
