LAMENT OF A WOULD-BE HERO
I chased the dragons like they said
My lance lodged fast within his head
I saved the damsels in distress

Storybooks told me good would come

Yet, I wish with all my heart
That faerie-tales were true
To be summoned to a noble cause
I would rise up once again
Shake off all bitterness and pain
And ride swiftly to the fray
