The importance of saving our wildlife, the different species of oil covered birds who's health has become endangered from the massive gulf oil spill is crucial for several very valid reasons.
The first reason is, they are a part of the earth's circle of life. They are a part of a wider sequence of nature's natural habitat. They are on a life cycle just like all living species human and animal.
If they do not live a full life and die of natural causes it throws the circle of life out of balance. Being covered in oil from a human error which would lead to their death is not part of the intended nature's plan. Their life is taken before it has gone full circle.
Much like when innocent civilian's, men, women, and children are killed from either a war massacre or a terrible automobile accident. It's not a natural death. They were taken much to early from human error, and it is not part of nature. It is not a natural demise like just ageing and passing on.
When a human being or a pet gets injured, they go for medical treatment so their life can be saved. It is what we as humans do to preserve life. It's our natural method of preserving life.
The second and more important reason is it teaches children to value living things and it also teaches humanity.
Children learn by example, and having positive roll models. Children are exposed to violence everyday through the media and sometimes in their home environment. They learn that living things are not important and they learn to devalue life, when not shown any other way.
When they see all the helpless birds covered in oil on their television or perhaps in their classroom and view other humans trying to degrease the birds and clean them, this teaches the children about caring for even the smallest living creatures. It sets an example and teaches the children humanity not violence and hate.
The lesson learned is that all life has a purpose. That's why it is important to save the oil covered birds. It benefits everyone.
The third reason is that it by-passes all the politics and is a positive act to fix a human error. It brings people together for a cause. There is no red tape. People just band together to get the job done.
These are three reasons why, humans should help the oil covered birds. It only helps improve our world we live in.
