So what the U.S. citizenry is divided. Why should anyone care?
The differences that our children have, we embrace. The differences that our marital relationships have, motivates authors to write books on how important the differences could be to a meaningful relationship.
But here we are, perhaps the most divide the U.S. citizens have been in many years. The politicians benefit off of the isolation that is set between so many because they use it to convince people that they have a way to unite everyone "If you would just elect me" slips off of their lips with so much expression of concern, all the while boasting that the other side has created the turmoil. Prejudiced and extremist's people exploit that the reason we are divided is because of our genealogical differences. They use it to promote having a separate nations within a nation. Further, they propose that people absorb the differences and the contention for one another, they say that it should motivate a cause "To purify our race":
The scenario's that this article presents are an attempt of the writer to outrage the American citizens. It is shameful that all of the pain that this country has endured for the sake of unity has been trumped and forgotten. The Civil War, the Civil Rights movement and the push for women's rights. Is it possible that these incidents no longer are significant?
Lately, media outlets have made a push to enlighten people about the Tea Party movement. There are certain elements of the movement that have legitimate concerns for the pains of this country. But there are others who have hijacked their attention to promote antiquated mindsets of racism and other prejudices. This is un - American. How can we continue to remain vigilant on confronting terrorism, fight corruption in financial institutions, and support our soldiers unless we speak from the same mantel? How effective is a football team with half its starters on the bench? Or an army who uses few of its infantry. The answers lies in individual hearts. Many of us should push to quiet the noise and promote the unity that America has continued to show turmoil after turmoil.
But have we reached a point of no return? Should articles like this be censored? Maybe it's time to dissolve this great country into sections, so that all the people that want their own landscape can have it. Does this sound ridiculous? It should.
