It is our sole right to look our best on the wedding big day as we are supposed to be the center of attention of everyone's eyes, especially our partner's. Although going totally simple is absolutely against the rules, it would not look appropriate to apply too much makeup either. However, you can adopt a strategy which will not only make you look classy but will also let you become a part of the hot topic of every discussion for a long period of time. Here are some handy tips which will undoubtedly help you out to look like a princess on a festive occasion like your very own wedding.
- Emphasize on your eyes:
When it comes to your eyes, it is suggested that you keep it low and stay away from too much of vibrant liners and kohl pencils as they can bring about a severe look on your entire face. It is recommended that you use a smooth liner which matches your wedding outfit. Black, grey and brown shades are mostly preferred at such events and after applying it, make sure to even it out. The eye shadows are obviously essential for the vitality of your eyes and it will be a good idea to choose colors which go with your dress and suit your skin tone. Refrain from using zingy colors like green, blue or violet and do not forget to complete the look with a mascara. It will make your eyes grab a lot of attention and will also give you a mysterious yet a beautiful expression.
- Accentuate the cheeks:
You might be surprised to know this but cheek bones are of greater significance rather than the cheeks themselves. It is best to avoid shimmers and bronzers when it is your wedding that you are dressing up for. Go for a smooth matt look, in fact, now you can even buy blushes in a liquid form which are easier to use and have more effective results. Nothing can be a better tool than your own finger tips when it comes to blending the shades while doing makeup. If you have a pale complexion, then opt for a coppery shade while fair-skinned women should apply shades with a tinge of pink.
- Stressing on the lips:
Foundation should be a big no-no for your lips as it can play havoc with them. Initiate the process by moisturizing your lips and then proceed by applying a lipstick with a shade of brown or pink. To get that uber-sexy pout, use a lip gloss on the center of the lips only.
