Last week, two of the chefs in Hell’s Kitchen were gone – one was told to hang up his jacket, the other just walked out the door after getting thrown out of the kitchen. This was only the second time someone has actually walked out the door after a Chef Ramsay tongue lashing. This week we were given two shows back to back where anything could happen on Hell’s Kitchen season 7.
Viewers were left wondering if Andrew would return this week or if his pride would truly take him all the way back home. But not only did Andrew not come back this week - another chef throws in the towel and walks out the door.
Season 7 is as hot as previous seasons – Chef Ramsay keeps the chefs on their toes and he always has a few choice words that cannot be aired on TV. June 15 show was no different. Down to 13, these chefs have to again face the wrath of Chef Gordon Ramsay.
The red team (ladies) has yet to win a challenge but they were finally able to redeem themselves. Chef Ramsay setup a teamwork lunch challenge which the ladies won – but just barely. They were able to take the day off and enjoy the beach. They also got to go head to head with the Ramsay family in a friendly game of soccer – the Ramsay family (Gordon, wife, and kids) won. The blue team (men) was sent to clean up litter – a lot of litter, nasty litter. At least they helped the environment.
Dinner service started our hellacious for the red team. Fran severely burned her hand before service even began but she sucked it up to work the meat station. But her plates were constantly being sent back for meat either being over or under cooked.
On the blue team, Salvatore was placed out in the dining to take orders and work with the guests. Because he doesn’t write English well, he couldn’t write out the tickets where anyone could read them. After getting his ego hurt by Chef Ramsay, Salvatore walks out the door just as Andrew had done the week before – but hold the show. Salvatore does return to finish the dinner service.
It was clear throughout the dinner service that the red team was the weaker team. The men had their ups and downs but nothing compared to the ladies. And when dinner service finally ended, Chef Ramsay confirmed what we already knew – the red team lost. Two members from the red team were put up for elimination. The red team chose Fran and Jamie. Surprisingly it was Jamie who Chef Ramsay chose to leave Hell’s Kitchen.
