If you have curly hair, then there are many different short hairstyles that might look great.  Some of these are easy and casual whereas others are more complex and elegant.  The following are some you might want to consider.

Headband

A simple and cute style is to just put a headband in your hair.  This can help keep your hair out of your eyes.  They sell a lot of hard headbands that just go straight down on top of your head.  Some are inexpensive plastic ones.  Others have crystals on them and can even be appropriate for a special event such as a wedding or the prom.  Those can easily be over a hundred dollars.   There are some that have silk flowers on them.  These range in how thick they are, and some people find that they are too tight or give them headaches so you might want to try it on before purchasing it.  Also, some of them are made for children so make sure that you do not get something too juvenile if you are an adult.

They also make cloth headbands that would be great if you have short and curly hair.  These look like a round cloth circle.  You simple place it all the way over your head and then pull it up in the front over your forehead.  These come in many different fabrics, colors and thicknesses.

Hair combs

One very pretty way to wear your curly, short hair is to place hair combs in it.  You can place one on one side of your head or place one on either side.  Some combs are very simple and barely noticeable, whereas others have very large designs for more a more sophisticated look.

Hair clips

Some people find that hair clips or barrettes stay in better than combs.  You can experiment with the different types.  Some are alligator clips, which might be better for fine hair.  Some are very large and bright and might even have expensive elements like crystals and embroidery.  They also make some for children that have kids’ characters on them or rainbow colors.  You can even get some that have a holiday motif for when the different holidays come around such as Valentine’s Day, the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving Day.  They may have the colors of the holiday or have ribbons or other related embellishments.

There are many great hairstyles for short and curly hair.  Consider the above ideas when deciding how to do your hair.
