Is the death penalty moral?

Of course the death penalty is not moral. We all know it's wrong behavior.

The real problem is that the whole world is filled with things that are not moral. So the real question is; Is the death penalty more moral than the act of the perpetrator or is it justifiable to execute this person?

We know the quote "Let the one who has not sinned cast the first stone". Jesus has said.

It's my firm belief that humans are not here to give payment to those who have sinned. We are here to overcome sin. We are here to become moral. We are here to try and prevent sin from happening in the first place and when we start killing people for killing people we too share in this guilt of what has happened. No, not to the extent of being responsible for a criminals actions but in some small way we all are connected in the quest of being sinless.

Some will say that this approach of sin-less-ness is ridiculous. I am in no way, at all, responsible for what some murderer has done when I have never even had contact with them or anyone they have ever known. But you have and you do have an influence on their life in all sorts of ways. Face it, I don't think that people are born immoral. They become immoral due to there surroundings and others that they come in contact with. Face it, we are all connected in some form or fashion.

I'm a marine. I was a soldier. I have killed in the course of my service. I have loaded bombs and then someone has used those bombs to kill someone that I have never met before in my entire life. You may say that I've killed perfect strangers. Yet I walk freely in the streets of the United States of America. I have broken no laws of my land. I don't feel good about it. Let's face it, killing is a necessary evil in the world of today.

How do we overcome this? Some think that we cannot overcome sin. I say that we can! We start by making the world a better place in any way that we can in a humane fashion.

The hardest thing to do is sit back and watch third world countries live in poverty. The real question is ; How much time do we have and how long is to long to wait and watch the conditions that are unacceptable to our way of life? My eyes belong to me so I have a right to control what they see. My mind belongs to me so I have a right to fix what I know is wrong.

Then we have the laws of our land and the laws of other lands which is nothing more than an ill intention to change things for the better. If everybody obeyed the law than
