I am proud to be an American through and through.  I'm just not so sure what there is to be so proud of. I guess in other countries they have different accountabilities for different offenses, here you are rewarded with jail. 

Now, if you are wondering why I say rewarded, I'll explain in detail. If you live in a Third world country and you are caught stealing guess what they do? They cut off your hands.

If you are caught in the United States stealing guess what they do? Possible fine maybe, or "Don't come back in the store" and then you just go back the next day. I have personally seen this myself being a former Manager for a large Retailer in the past. 

Next we will move on to Sexual Assault in a Third World Country. People who commit this crime are normally castrated or put in jail when they are caught. When you commit this crime in the United States, you go to jail and are given the standard Cable Tv, Phone, Health  Benefits, Library, Weights etc.

If you are out on the town and you don't have a ride, no problem steal a car! It's no big deal even if you're drinking! I have seen people with 4 or 5 Dui's in the same year. People can pretty much do what they want anytime they want to and its no big deal.

Wait a minute we are not done yet. If you want to kill someone because they either did something to harm you or ticked you off, you can kill them and plead insanity and for the most part get away with it. In a Third World Country it is Eye for an Eye.

Now let's figure this out together, are we too easy on crime? I say yes and I'm sure a lot of other people agree but are afraid to stand up for their rights and say something.  We give Welfare to everyone who feels like they need a break. The people who really need it do not receive it or at least enough of it to survive on.

The illegal Immigrants who sneak over in the USA are receiving it as well. I am sickened by the thought of going to work while the people down the street whom never worked a day in their life are driving a newer car than me and living in a nicer house with a bigger tv. Why should I work? Oh wait it's because if I went down to the Welfare office they would say "No" to me.

So I ask, 'Why am I so proud to be an American?'  Everything that seems to go on is some kind of scam! I am so sick of everything starting from all the fake scam road work in Pittsburgh that seems to hold up traffic so bad it is a 2 hour commute from anywhere to anywhere.
