Looking for God, use your senses well
Stand in awe of what they tell
Existing rare in sheltered berth
A planet blue, God called Earth
Smell the flowers in a field well kept
Smell the morning air after clouds have wept
Be appraised of sweet aromas from bakery raised
Smell a lawn mowed in early dawn
Hear the sound of honking geese
As from winter they release
Hear the choir at Sunday church
Hear the song birds from thier perch
Taste a newly ripened pear
Or a peach freshly pared
Taste the bread from an oven warm
Taste the honey from a bee's swarm
Feel the heartbeat when baby born
Feel the love that time has worn
Feel the emotion that God has granted
Feel the pride that you have planted
See the beauty earthy bound
Lurking far and all around
See the mountains crusted white
Haloed in a moon lit night
Now you have found
That God is all around
For no man could create
What God has given to relate
