Unto us a Child is Born

As night gathers darkness by leaps and bounds

Entertained by tunes of the armies of insects

Two stars rise shining bright and clear

The first takes command of the cheerful skies

The wisdom from the east; holding captive its

Greatest and choicest wits, by then

Only three in the entire universe.

She paves way for the whole Mankind via these sages

The heavens are quiet save the steadfast angelic praises

Heard from a  distance and steadily drawing nigh

Towards Bethlehem, the maiden city, she leads the

Men hitherto perplexed and inspired to a Greater Star

Taming their hands and spirits to pay tributes

Owe allegiance and worship in fashions unique.

The shepherds keep watch through the night

Notwithstanding the fact that it's not like the previous one

With uneasy hearts and little pockets of joy unexplained

They pass the night in hunting songs and stories around

the fireplace that today seem to burn with divine touch

Suddenly the heavens burst clear with angels singing

Songs patented to the King in heavens, thus breaking the Good News.

The leading star ceremoniously stops directly over a

Roof that harbors livestock, nappier and solitude

In there, Greater Star is born, wrapped in  cloths

Attributed to yokels, the three wise men fall off

Their means of transport and searches gladly,

In the near distance, the first divine screams on the face

Of the earth are heard, screams for a perishing generation.

The three senior citizens look at each other as if to

say "Eureka ",  walk straight with rosy steps to the rugged

Wooden door, there they stumble into a delighted couple

The man boasts an appearance of rural orientation

The woman is sparkling with beauty and innocence and

In her adorable hands , she bears  Immanuel affectionately

Only laying Him down for the Grand Father's blessings and gifts.

The joy and celebration around the manger and in the heavens

Are as intense as the fury of the Terrible king

Whom the wise men, for diplomatic reasons, paid homage

And gave the cause of their errand in his territory

An errand that his Intelligence Office never saw coming

An errand that sounded unpleasant  to his royal ears and taste

An errand that now threatens his sovereignty and territorial security.

The divine screams that are emanating from the manger

Have forthwith turned out to be  a surety for the king

To carry out an executive executions in the said category

In order to preserve, protect and defend his despotic office

Two screams fill the air; one of the redemption of man

Another is caused by rebellion of man, Bethlehem is

Running amok, the king is troubled , so are his taxpayers.

Egypt shows grace and lends refuge to our salvation

The king left to his own devices is headed for doom

The thought of both divided loyalty and dominion torments him

But the unprescribed wrath of God torments him even more

With nothing to report but failure, he succumbs dead

Then the guardian Angel brings news to the second Eve

To go back to her hometown with the begotten Son

Since then, willing men receive all that pertains 

To life, to godliness happily ever after.
