Life goes on,
and time waits for no man.
My steps are getting shorter,
and my eye sight is growing dimmer.
Life speeds by, taking no heed
that I am slightly behind.
Memories long treasured in my heart are fading
away. I try to grasp them, but they slowly dance away
to that secret place where I cannot retrieve them.
Life goes on.
Babies cry,
while their parents grow old and die.

Poetry: Life goes on
by Carol Gioia
His journey ended in the Fall,
he exited with grace,
I couldn’t believe I’d never again
see his smiling face.
Thanksgiving
Life goes on
No matter what you
Do or wish
What ever has been taken
What ever you have lost
Life goes on
Why?
What is it all
Life goes on
and worlds orbit
earth can't hold onto the blanket of night
and sun slips over spilling day everywhere
Life

Life goes on
A never-ending song
The wind carries along
The tone of it's symphony
Unpredictable
Like the deep blue see
Changeable
You know it doesn´t matter
What is whirling in the mist
The composition of an atom
Is as interesting as soup, and distant
