Bending With the Wind
The young tree bends with the racing wind,
its sap runs swift with life.
It sways and bows dancing to the beat,
knowing no other way to survive!
The tree in full maturity now,
has lost its will to bend, instead
stands firm, refusing to bow
with the racing wind, it uses rather…
strength to stop what can’t be.
The oak must learn from the willow,
that life can’t be tamed only borne,
There are no promises given,
only wind, and rain and storms!

Wind swirls
Know not how
Gentle breeze
Across your brow
Rustling leaves
Musical sound
Quaking aspens
Dearly found
Winds
As gentle as a mothers kiss
upon her babies face
As forceful as some nitroglyce’
Explosive to erase
As kind to push
