Windows 7 is far superior to Windows Vista, especially for those of us who are not 'computer geeks' because Windows 7 does not cause confusion. There are more of us out here in ordinary homes throughout the world that there are 'computer geeks' so we gladly sing the praises of Windows 7.
Windows 7 is easy to use. Before I installed Windows 7 on my inexpensive laptop, I found myself getting confused and angry every time I wanted to surf the Web with Windows Vista. No longer do I have a temper tantrum and curse Microsoft for having installed Vista on the computer that I purchased to replace an older, simpler computer. I so wanted my older, slower computer with Windows 98 so confusion would stay at bay. Vista just never seemed to do the expected: just be usable and do the right thing.
Vista made it impossible to connect to wireless and created error after error. Not only was I damning the creators of Vista, but I was ready to go back to dreadfully slow dial-up. Windows 7 not only installed satisfactorily without problems in the process, but set up the wireless system automatically. WOW! Wonderful!
It has been difficult for me to understand why a successful corporation like Microsoft ever put such a dud as Windows Vista on the market, well, at least in the New World markets. Usually corporations, cigarette corporations sell their duds to Third World companies without regard for the value to the population. But, here in America, those of us who finally had the cash to buy a new and better computer got 'stuck with' Windows Vista. And, when it wouldn't work satisfactorly, we became angry at Microsoft and just may not be so gullible the next time we make a purchase. In other words, we were furious at getting Microsoft's Windows Vista. YUK!
At least Microsoft recognized the grossness of their error in putting their dreadful Vista on all new computers now. They haven't cared enough to provide Windows 7 free to replace the Vista. They had better become wiser because next time we will be wiser even though we are not 'computer geeks'.
I find the Windows 7 advertisements most interesting because credit is given to many people around the world as if Windows 7 was their idea. However, I wonder why the company doesn't include some of us ordinary computer users in those ads. Could it be that they still don't think we matter. Come on, Microsoft, count us in.
