Nothing can stop the Backstreet Boys from making their timeless signature songs. Yes, they are back again! This time with more talented producers striking the current music scene from the likes of: Redone, Claude Kelly, Brian Kennedy, Ryan Tedder, Josh Hoge, plus their ever reliable, Swedish hit-maker Max Martin, among many others.
With its carrier single, “Straight Through My Heart,” it lays out the dance theme for the album. You’ll easily find yourself pulsating to its beats from tracks including “Bye Bye Love” and “PDA.” A fresh, additional track in their Asian release of the cd is “Helpless” featuring Pitbull. I find myself in a trance and bobbing my head to its craze of helplessness. It’s the type of musical style you’d enjoy with its fusion of synths and youthful vibe going on. It’s loaded with many great melodies, from the mixing and arrangement of the songs, to the beautiful harmony of the boys’ voices. My personal top choices are: “All Of Your Life (You Need Love),” “This Is Us,” and “Masquerade.” The 4th track, “All Of Your Life (You Need Love),” is one that I’d love dancing to and relate to its message. Everybody needs love, right? Yes, and following it through with
