Strutting beside me as I mow
Your little black head to and fro
Cocky little black bird
Accompanying me across the imagined
Sea of green where worms await
Your hungry belly be their fate
I think you take your woman for granted
And flirt around the yard
Your drama reminds me of Italian Opera
As I toil in the heat of the unthankful day

Poetry: Just the way you are
Just The Way You Are.
"I wouldn't
change anything
about you",
"You're perfect -
just the way you are."
Words whispered in

Sweatshirt, hair let out, no make up on.
Hold me with your gentle touch.
And there is nowhere else I'd rather be.

Just the way
You are
Is perfect
For me
Nature sees
Full of wisdom
In His gifts
A heart is called
To lift this
Knowledge
In
I love you just the way you are,
My freshly fallen guiding star,
And as I watch your face,
I know that God has graced my life,
