The captivating 6th sequel to the life of Harry Potter has and always will captivate me and many other fans. The story opens with the Muggles, non-magical people, noticing some strange things happening like constant mist and strange accidents and dissapearances. This dark mood sets up the magical world's crisis as well as Lord Voldemort is now even more powerful than ever. Despite the evil that envelopes both worlds, Harry is still a somewhat innocent and normal teenager who experiences love, jealousy, and anxiety. The introduction of Professor Slughorn gives the story a comical twist as he is viewed as a jolly man with a walrus mustache who takes an immediate liking to Harry.
As the year proceeds, Harry starts to take private lessons from Dumbledore. Unexpectedly, these lessons are not lessons on powerful spells and potions but instead a harrowing ride through Voldemort's past as well as related people who he impacted. Harry starts to realize how Voldemort operated, alone. During his last lesson with Dumbledore, Harry finds out about the Horcruxes which are the magical items that conceal a person's soul. The only way to do this is through murder. Dumbledore and Harry speculate on what exactly these Horcruxes could be and came to a conclusion that the diary from the second book and a ring that Dumbledore had destroyed previously were two Horcruxes. Since Voldemort had a soul inside him, only four remained. The list included powerful artifacts from Slytherin and Hufflepuff, Nagini the snake and perhaps a relic from Ravenclaw.

Trouble always came knocking for Harry as he is found out by Malfoy during an attempt to eavesdrop on his converstaion. Harry is almost returned to London, completely stupified, but is saved by Tonks. The adventure doesn't end as the Gryffindor Quidditch team received a massive boost in popularity, now that Harry is the "Chosen One". After shouting himself hoarse, Harry picked out his team. During the process, he encountered the massive Cormack McLaggen who had an eye for Hermione. Ron beats him for the Keeper position, thanks to a little help from Hermione. Romance is in the air as Harry realizes he has a burning desire for Ron's sister, Ginny. He is, however, scared to come out and confess in fear of
