This is very refreshing title to see. Women are not associated with virtue very much anymore in popular culture and I am glad that Cate mentioned Proverbs 31 as an example of such a woman.
That popular culture seems to do everything to strip women out of their dignity as it strips them of their clothes...
Now to be a good mother and a caring wife is portrayed as a sign of being "oppressed" while a woman who has no time for her family because she is overcomitted to her profession is called "liberated".
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong in working. The virtuous woman was clearly not the oppressed, timid, scared of any independent move woman who is owned by her husband, as the feminists would like everyone to believe.
She has a strong character and right priorities, she is wise, she is not a "sweet idiot" who doesn't care about or know anything else , except make -up, Hollywood fashion, dieting and soap operas.
She doesn't fight against her husband's "oppressive" authority but respects him, she is his helper and completer, she is the source of his pride, she has his full trust.
I think she is a very good role model for women of every time and culture, a standard we should all as women whether married or single strive towards.
