When the weather is nice out there are classic car shows nearly every weekend. But how can you find these car shows? There are several ways to find them, and this article will explain how to do so.
The first way to find classic car shows is by using the internet. If you go to Google or another online search engine and enter “car shows ___(your city or state here)___”, then several websites should appear with upcoming car shows in your area. Community events pages, such as those found on the website of your local newspaper, may also have classic car shows listed as upcoming events. Some car shows also allow you to register online (assuming that you are entering your car into the show).
Another way to discover classic car shows in your area is while you are at a car show. If you have your car entered in a car show, people may come around and give you flyers that are advertising upcoming classic car shows. You can then sort through these and decide if there are any that interest you and that you may want to go to in the future. You could also talk to other participants and see if they know about any other upcoming shows as well.
You can also find out about classic car shows through a local car club. If you have a special kind of classic car, or even just a certain brand/make, there may be a classic car club in your area or city that you can join. In this club you can join, talk, and hang out with other people who have the same kind of car that you may have. Not only may a club announce upcoming car shows, the members may all drive to them together and have a certain section in the show for that club. Even if you are not part of a car club, you may still be able to find people in your area with similar cars who you can become friends with and share your interest with. That way you can still discuss car shows with them as well.
After reading this article, you should be able to find a classic car show in your area when you want to go to one. Car shows can be a great time when you can converse with people in your community and with other people who like classic cars.
