The Window

Where are you, the man I seek to find?

The one I see, so frequent in my mind.

I search forever, far & wide.

Is it from me you wish to hide?

Where are you?

I hope I am good

I hope I am worthy

I hope you will fall in love with all that you see

to begin the story that is "You & Me."

Where are you?

I see people all around.

But it is you I have not found.

Where are you?

I want to live, learn and grow old;

being in one's arms is nice,so I am told.

As I sit here, always dreaming of you,

I wonder, "are  you looking for me too?"

Where are you?

Once I find you,

be sure I will always keep

a place in my heart

for the love I hold so deep.

When you come I will be ready,

with the picture I hold,

I know you already.

I feel a chill down my spine to my toes.

My longing for you just grows and grows.

So this is from me to you out there.

As I sit at my window and stare,

If you ever feel that shiver too,

It's just me whispering

      I Love You..
