Poetry: Hell

by Paul Erland

Created on: June 09, 2010

Hell is a place of unending fire and brimstone,

With little demons kicking you in the shinbone

Forever – a place of much suffering and pain,

Crammed full of the obnoxious, the vain –

People you wouldn’t have much to say to –

That, actually, you wouldn’t give the time of day to;

Absolutely guaranteed to get your goat –

Roasting right along with you in the same boat,

Like a chicken on a spit, or a pheasant.

It’s not very pleasant.
