Believe it or not, nearly every person who is alive on Earth today has or will suffer mental and/or physical anguish that is caused by financial stress. Within our modern society or during any other period of the history of Mankind such stress was or is caused by people who have or do not have, within their own mind, enough money to live the life that they would like to live, or simply remain healthy and alive.
Money was created as a medium of payment for all goods and services. Those who receive money are usually the sellers of goods or they acquire a certain amount of money by working for an employer. So too, money is acquired by providing a service that many people might have a need for.
Those who earn a living by being paid with a financial medium of exchange, which we all know as money, can then buy whatever they desire or what they can afford to pay for. More often than not, the money earned is spent for the purpose of having a place in which to live, food to eat and paying for those other expenses that allows us to go to work, raise a family, entertain ourselves and provide for our eventual retirement from the work force.
The more we know to better off we are, regarding our ability to earn a whole lot of money during our working lifetime. As a matter of fact, normal people who do earn a whole lot of money usually do not suffer a great deal of financial stress.
On the other hand, those who do have a whole lot of money but want a whole lot more money usually do suffer from a great deal of financial stress. Those people are truly greedy people who, within their own mind, want to own everything that the World has to offer to them. They want to be the richest person on Earth before they pass away, regardless of who suffers and/or dies as a result of their greedy behavior.
How much wealth must one have, in order to be happy, healthy and alive? Since each of us is somehow different from every other person who is alive on Earth, only you can answer that question. Then again, what you do to earn a living and how much time you spend each year earning that living can also create a great deal of financial stress.
Those who have job security and are able to satisfy their living requirements usually do not suffer a great deal of financial stress. Therefore, your goal should be to live the life that you want to live, by earning enough money in which to enjoy most of, if not all of, the things that, within your own mind, make life truly worth living. The end result being, you are a successful person who is truly happy to be alive.
