Poetry: What might have been

by Martine Pauwels

Created on: June 08, 2010

What might have been

If fate did not stop us

Would I have been yours

Our would you have broken my heart

Would we have stood

Or fell apart

Why did you play with my mind

I do not know you

What made you touch my heart

I just met you

Yet I wanted to go with you

Be yours

What did you intent

I will never know

Something came in between

I do not know where to find you

Why did I not insist

To give you my number

Were you bored with me

Will I see you again

I left the party

With many questions

Will we dance again

Will you remember me

Did you find another

Why do I bother
