Nathalie,
You are my strength when I am weak.
My sense of direction showing me the right way home when I have lost my way.
My conscience when my heart is playing tricks with my mind.
You are my eyes – forcing me to see things for what they really are when mine are closed for the reality.
Every time I smile – you are there with me in my laughter.
You are the one pushing me to go forward the days I feel like I am ready to give up.
Drying my tears when I am crying, and can not see a way out of the sadness.
You are my breath when I am out of air, my hope when I have doubts.
When my emotions are eating me up from inside you are the one to calm me down and make me see the light through the darkness.
The one who tells me “I told you so” and even though I hate to admit that you were right it always makes me laugh.
You are the one carrying me home when my legs dont want to walk.
You are the one laughing and telling me it is ok when I think I have done something that I shouldn't have done.
You are the sun shining on a cloudy day, the rain falling down when the earth and plants are dry.
You are my faith in myself and life when I have lost the magic.
You are the glue for my sanity, my being, and you make me be a better, stronger person.
Nathalie, You are my sister – you are a part of me, my family
You are me and I am you

Here we sit, face to face
Eye to eye, yet far away
I stare daggers, you watch in vain
As between us, I build a wall

Once bonded by childhood,
We shared trouble and shared happiness
A duo standing together
I fought beside you in your battles,
Alarm goes off. And she begins
Matutinal routine.
(My mother taught me that big word
Said it came from matinee.)
