In a dependable daily ritual, people across the world lament the corruption of men who sit at the highest levels of free society. Meanwhile, many of those same good people are left to scratch their law-abiding heads with their hard-working hands, puzzled at how so many selfish and dishonest souls seem to have a fast track to career advancement, a decided advantage of sheer available resource with which the average guy simply cannot compete.
But what if he could?
What if the “what ifs” of life could be answered? These are the questions that all of us, believing and unbelieving alike, have mulled over at one time or another:
What if I had more time to develop my skills and knowledge in key areas?
What if I could concentrate on being my best as a believer and as a professional?

With so many things competing for our strength and focus, who can devote to any one of them his complete attention?
In my own case, a sponsorship arrangement of this kind would have meant great relief to me in my twenties and early thirties, freeing me from much of the burden of working to provide the resources necessary to propel myself into the field of education and into the studies of my faith that I find so fulfilling (and yet so hard to do in any depth due to the constraints of time and money). It is impossible for me not to imagine where I might have gone, what I might have done, whom I might have met, or how quickly I might have
