This book should be required reading. Whether anyone likes it or not Mr. Beck and Mr. Balfe have brought forth information in the best interest of truth, justice, and the American way.
Arguing with Idiots uses an old fashion way of delivering information not understood by the media for years; tell the truth and have the facts to back it up. The book does both.
Colorful and filled with humor, 'Arguing with Idiots' includes a guide in how to use the book, humorous cartoons, and a wonderful little “The less you know” section that pops up throughout all 300 or so pages.
The authors take the reader on such adventures on “How to Get a Gun Permit in Manhattan.” There are twenty-three steps, some of which may need to be repeated. Mr. Beck sent one of his staff members on this mission. Read the book to find out what happens.
Another interesting topic is the fifteen government agencies the make up the United States Postal Service. Suffice it to say suspending Saturday mail delivery would take at least ten years of paperwork and meetings to accomplish.
These guys talk about things that so many are afraid to say. Political correctness cast aside, this is the place to learn the truth. What really happened, when, how, and who was involved are all covered. The index references all supporting documents to make each case.
They attack environmental issues with a “My carbon footprint is bigger than yours attitude” blended with facts. No one is going to save the planet by riding a bicycle or only using two sheets of toilet paper per day. Fact: the earth is bigger and stronger than we are.
Never at any point is it suggested that anyone should intentionally behave in a destructive way. The truth is presented and the conclusions might shock quite a few people. Many will need to read this book sitting down and in small sections.
This book is a guide, a manual, a collection of facts, and a list of quotes that surely haunt those who spoke such words to this day. All of these things are included in this book. No detail is left out. Even the cover sends a message to the world.
'Arguing with Idiots' is the first of many steps that Americans are looking to take. We just want the truth. We don’t mind a little humor thrown in the mix but at the end of the day just tell the truth. Thank you, Mr. Beck and Mr. Balfe for telling the truth.
