Making every effort to stay low profile, Kathryn Rogers marries Rush Limbaugh on his beachfront estate today. Rogers, a 33 year old “event planner” for VIPs has been seeing the 59 year-old broadcaster for a long time now and was first spotted wearing an engagement ring about a year ago. The couple first met years ago at a golf charity she had organized and have been an item since 2004 when Limbaugh was in the process of jettisoning his third wife.
One of the most public figures in America today, Rush Limbaugh has had an astounding role in national politics and policy without ever running for office or asking for a vote. With humor, wit, and reason, Limbaugh is known for his tantalizing monologues that cut down politicians and world leaders of all stripes down to size. Rush is also one of the wealthiest personalities in media and often flaunts his wealth and elite status on his radio show.
Known for his nearly 100% correct opinion audit, however, Limbaugh is hurting himself. After publicly announcing that he was done with marriage, he proved himself wrong in a big way. Limbaugh has not stated why he believes his fourth trip to the altar will be different from the first three, but Rogers’ dedication to her man through a variety of health and personal issues leads many to believe that love might truly be in the air this time.
Rogers, no pauper in her own right, has extensive ties with the social elite and is a descendant of one of the nation’s founders, John Adams. Rogers is also credited with helping the famous talk radio host lose over a hundred pounds and for giving him a human touch in a world that regularly portrays him as an ultra-right-wing monster.
Although Kathryn Rogers is only a little more than half of Limbaugh’s age, she seems to think that the difference is not much of a factor. She has insinuated that her lavish lifestyle and world travels has matured her to the point beyond her years. In fact, one report quotes her as saying that she has trouble relating to others in her age group.
Limbaugh managed to keep his romance from receiving much attention on his radio show. Even after announcing that he would be off the air for a couple weeks, Limbaugh attributed his absence to bringing a “new puppy” into the house, leaving many fans perplexed and in the dark about his nuptial plans.
