Let's look at it in a slightly different perspective. A Basketball hoop is always 10 feet high. The pitcher always stands 90 feet away from the batter. And the longest pass that can be thrown in football is 99 yards. Think of just about any sport, and it nearly always has the same constant factors. Golf is a major exception.

There are 14 different clubs to choose from on every shot. With holes ranging from 100 to 600 yards, there is always a chance to improve your longest hit. In baseball, once the ball goes over the fence, it's irrelevant how much farther it goes. And every golf course is different. No two are the same. And even if you play the same one, you will always find yourself somewhere on the course that you have never been before. If you've seen one football field, you've seen them all. They are all exactly the same. But no two greens in golf are the same.

So if we look at diversity within one sport, it would have to be golf.
