Telemarketing Motivational Training

I have placed in each of your cubicles the script you will be using when you make your calls to our potential, customers.  However do not ever refer to them as customers, you are technically not sales persons.  You are appointment setters or scheduling processors. Also there are lists of house phone numbers with names and addresses. You should have time to call everyone one on all of these pages before your break in 2 hours.  There is to be no talking to each other, you will talk only to the people that you are trying to set appointments for.  There are pens and individual note books for each of you so that anyone who doesn’t hang up in your face can be harassed or called back for further pressuring!  Anyone who shows any type of interest or anyone who just sounds weak, indecisive or passive, or anyone that seems to lack the ability to make good or rational decisions, are the type of people that you would want to put on your “call back/ harass” list.  All you have to do is simply make the appointment and our sales associates will go in for the… will do the rest.

Now, let’s take a look at the script.  I will read it out loud as it should be read to the mark, or to the ‘potential client ‘.

"Good evening sir/ma’am," (if uncertain just try to say a combination of sir and ma’am together, in a mumbling sort of fashion.)

"My name is ___________________"(here you should make up a name that in no way represents you or any relation to you incase of an unforeseen mishap. This is kind of like insurance, you can never be too careful!)" Today must be your lucky day sir or ma’am or sara’am," (here you will pause for a response, how ever you only pause long enough for the appointee to start to say something, you don’t want them to actually be able to talk because if they do then you have made your first vital error and you might as well hang up in their face because that is what they are going to do to you anyway. They should not ever be given the chance to say anything because they are probably going to say “No!” And “No” is what we will not take for an answer.)" It is your lucky day because there have been a rash of violent crimes in your neighborhood recently Mr.  or Ms.________________"(here you would do well to use the name of the mark because you will then give them the feeling that you  know
