Poetry: The Earth

by Erikson Arcilla

Created on: June 01, 2010   Last Updated: June 09, 2010

A tiny orb in the midst of space

A spec of green and a spec of blue

with skies tainted with crimson red

and its grounds filled with awesomeness!

It rotates for 24 hours and revolves for 365 days

with ever changing seasons, and never ending grace.

Waters dyed of deep blue, and the forests of luscious green.

A wonder made by God, A wonder i knew.

4.5 billion years has it been around,

changing as time goes by, and all in with it.

We thank the father almighty for giving us the pleasure,

to stay in a spec of blue and green which was then named Earth...
