Top ten sexiest men on TV

by Cathy Miller

Created on: May 31, 2010

I have to admit that I do not watch a lot of the television programs that are running today.  Most of these seem to be reality shows of some type and I am not a big fan of these types of shows.  Reality is around me every day.  When I turn on the television, I want to lose myself in a fantasy world of some type whether it is in a hospital, a federal office building or some other type of office - just as long as the writing is good, the actors are better and there are handsome men involved.

That being said, I have a few favorite shows that I have to watch every week.  Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, Leverage, Criminal Minds and most definitely NCIS.  These five shows have the hottest, sexiest men on television - especially three of the five.  Here are my picks for the 10 sexiest men on television today.

10 - (Tie) Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer, NCIS) and Matthew Grey Gubler (SSA Dr. Spencer Reid, Criminal Minds)

These two men are not the hunkiest or hottest men on television, or for that matter, on this list.  However, there is something about these two young men that makes me want to give them a big hug and kiss before pinching their cheeks.  They have the kind of charisma that draws you in and makes you care about their characters.  You cringe every time someone speaks harshly to them or tries to hurt them in any way.  You want to protect these men while cheering them on when they do something macho or manly.

Jimmy Palmer is the assistant ME on NCIS.  While he is not in danger very often, there have been times when he has been close to losing his life or his heart.  This was especially true in the Season 6 episode, "About Face."  Jimmy was at a crime scene and encountered a criminal who shot at him after Jimmy chased him.  This is a young man who envisions himself being an NCIS field agent.  One who helped Tony out when he was team leader the summer that Gibbs was in Mexico.  One that received the code name "Black Lung" from Tony.  Yet, when faced with a real threat, Jimmy was like most of us and developed the brain freeze.  Thankfully, the brain freeze melted and Jimmy was able to identify the man.  Not only that, he stopped the man from leaving the scene by crashing his car into the suspect's truck.  Not a very good idea, I admit, since the man was ready to shoot Jimmy until the team arrived and stopped him.  Still, you had to be proud of Jimmy's guts.
