Mixed Martial Arts, the fastest rising sports today and is now a popular event in television and arenas. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is one of the most popular or perhaps, the most popular. Biggest names of MMA are in the UFC and has been the reason why MMA has been so popular today. UFC features the best fighters from lightweight to heavyweight as names such as Frankie Edgar, George St. Pierre, Anderson Silva, Mauricio Roa and Brock Lesnar. These names are the holder of the championship belt in their respective division. And one of the most awaited matches is the heavyweight match of hard-hitting Shane Carwin and the return to the octagon by the heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Both are huge at 250 lbs and either can win the title. This match was postponed a couple of times because Lesnar suffered from a stomach illness and was hospitalized for days. As a result, an interim heavyweight belt was on the line as who would be the number one contender for the heavyweight title when Lesnar would be back inside the octagon. Carwin had to face Mir for a shot at Lesnar's belt and as usual finishes the matches in a KO in the first round. All of Carwin's match ended in first round with his brutal strikes.

Now, let us present each fighter with their advantages over the other, although I would give Carwin the vote to win the belt but anything can happen inside the octagon. First, the Interim Heavyweight Champion, Shane Carwin. A hard-hitting wrestler who finishes most of his matches in the first round by KO. Undefeated inside the octagon, Carwin defeated the likes of Mir, Gonzaga, Wain by KO and has established himself as a contender for the title. A NCAA II Wrestling Heavyweight Champion in 1999, Carwin can be destructive both on his feet and on the ground. For Lesnar, the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion, he has been away from the octagon for a long time since he was hospitalized and questions still remain if Lesnar is fully ready for this match. The former WWE star made headline to MMA as he left pro wrestling and signed to UFC. Although he lost at his debut match against former heavyweight champion Frank Mir, Lesnar proved to UFC fans that he is legit and defeated Heath Herring. In his 3rd fight inside the octagon, he defeated Randy Couture and became the UFC Heavyweight Champion. Defended his belt against a rematch with MIr using his size, power and wrestling skills. This NCAA Division I wrestler was diagnosed with an illness that sent him to the hospital.

The match has finally scheduled against Carwin and Lesnar as who would be the UFC Heavyweight Champion. Can the Interim Heavyweight Champion be the UFC Heavyweight Champion or will the reigning Heavyweight Champion defend his belt against the Interim Heavyweight Champion. This could be another record for the UFC as it finally features the most awaited match of heavyweights.
