Beware the childish spirit flitting through your life,
Despite initial joy all they bring is strife.
They have no idea how they break those around,
When the damage is done, they go to ground.
Like demanding toddlers, acting up for care,
Of others needs and feelings, they are not aware.
Nothing you can do to show how they have done wrong,
For them to grow and understand would take far too long.
In the meantime all those left behind,
Must inner peace and forgiveness delve to find.
Not realising is no defence at all for when the curtain finally falls.
Nothing the hurt and disappointment stalls.
So beware the childish spirit flitting through your heart,
They will rip and throw all the pieces of you very far apart.
