my dream
u sent me a angel
in my dream
and she did tell me
what she did see
she spoke of the knowledge
in my dream
and of the danger
that she did see
she gave me a warnin'
'bout my dream
and noticed the linen
it was so clean
she spoke of old books
with bindings of gold
and of the danger
that she did know
but i've faced that path
of pain and thorns
and have carried the cross
with no rewards
