Poetry: Dreamers

by Trinidad Apodaca

Created on: May 29, 2010

   my dream

u sent me a angel
in my dream
and she did tell me
what she did see

she spoke of the knowledge
in my dream
and of the danger
that she did see

she gave me a warnin'
'bout my dream
and noticed the linen
it was so clean

she spoke of old books
with bindings of gold
and of the danger
that she did know

but i've faced that path
of pain and thorns
and have carried the cross
with no rewards
