America: Buy a "Foreign" car and put 10-Americans out of work! Ever hear that line? It is True! I have been a UAW Auto-worker for almost 28-years now and this week (2,26,07) I'm on lay-off because of poor auto sales! And the problem extends much farther than just being on a few weeks lay-off! The big three (GM, Ford and Chrysler) are all facing what appears to be the toughest time in the auto assembly history! WHY? Take a look at the Automotive news and reviews this week on AOL! The best selling "family" car here in the United States of "America" is a Foreign car! This gives me a very sick feeling! All three of the Big-Three auto assembly plants here in America have announced Hugh cut-backs and plant-closings! My home-plant (where I hired in at GM) closed it's doors late last year! Thank God for the UAW and our negotiated agreement with the company! Most of us either took an early retirement package or buy-out or some of us like myself transfered to another assembly plant! Why Buy-America-Built cars? The answer is still the same people! Buy a Foreign built car and put 10-"Americans" OUT OF WORK!
