Ellen Degeneres is my all time favorite talk show host. I watch her show everyday and whatever mood I'm in she always seems to make me feel better. This, in my opinion, very few chat show hosts manage to do everyday. What an amazing quality to have, to make people feel better about themselves everyday.

When you look at the amount of work Ellen puts into the show, it's not hard to see why it's such a big success, and now one of the biggest chat shows in America. She 'apparently' gets involved with everything; the monologue writing, picking the music for that days show, games etc.

What is also important is how much Ellen loves her fans. She wants them to be involved in the majority of things she does hence the oscars and her photo shoot for W magazine. This, in my opinion, makes her fans, in some respect, feel closer to her as if they are all there with her to experience everything she does and of course they get a few laughs along the way.

As Ellen says herself; "It makes me happy, to know that everyday i can make people laugh and smile." In my opinion that makes her the number one talk show host. Good on ya Ellen
