True love is where life becomes worth living because true happiness only comes when we change the focus of our thoughts from ourselves to someone else. True love is growing up; becoming mature; thinking of someone else first, because it is childish to think only of ourselves all the time.
True love is when obsession ebbs and there is still yearning for one who is already there.
True love is need.
True love is peaceful, warm and breezy; true love is simple, blind and cheesy.
True love is rooted, firm and deep; deeper then need, firmer than promise and rooted in reality.
True love is something that is built over time, that feeds on memories and lives in the sublime; the destination, the trip and the reason for rhyme.
True love is how and when we live as we always thought we might, back when we were little and dreamed of a happy adult life.
True love is mutual, it cannot exist in a vacuum, nor in the unrequited void; it is existential, unfettered and unending; true love goes on even after you’re gone.
True love is that feeling inside where you know something is true, rather than hope or plead for its existence, when you are able to walk around with a self-confident smile on your face, because when there is true love in your heart, there is no doubt, because when something just is, there is no need to explain it to yourself or anyone else, it just is and that’s all there is.
True love is the answer to all of your prayer’s, the words on your lips as you search and seek for answers when you’re most alone, when you cry out into the dark of night in anguish, unaware of what might be out there, but then one day find out, and realize, it was worth the wait.
True love is forgetting now and then which one of you, you meant when referring to past events, or when making self-evaluations, or even sometimes when you’re talking to yourself, because the idea of self sort of loses meaning when it refers to both of you, and neither of you is ever really sure of where one leaves off and the other begins.
True love is the end of the struggle, and the beginning of getting on with actual living.
True love is true, everything else is a lie.
