Alone my wild heart aches
a reflect of the mirror
bitter smells and unsavory tastes
I am still waiting right here
Amongst the used and hurt
close my eyes to see you
lost and though you were the first
my heart aches riddle true
Maybe in another life
I have locked this old heart's door
tired from all the strife
my heart aches evermore
I've heard men should never cry
it makes them look unkempt
even when his lover dies
a lover's despair ascends
It gets cold in bed at night
and I miss you ever so
you were what brought in the light
why did you had to go
you have shined so bright
I am dark and frigid
my heartaches tonight
another day I'm rigid
I brush my teeth
and comb my hair
time clicks and beats
alone with despair
I'll have to wait
for the end of the story
and await my fate
here in purgatory

This House
These walls long to hear a baby's cry, and a child's laugh.
These floors long to feel bare little feet, running
