Comparing Kevin Durant and Greg Oden of the NCAA

Kevin Durant is an offensive explosion. Slick and quick he has superior ball handling skills, seems fearless, and knows how to read the double team. It is difficult to find a flaw in his offensive game. At this stage of his collegiate career he can hardly be faulted for defensive lapses as that part of the equation is less dependent on skill than it is on drill. His steals show he has the instincts and he'll force more turnovers next year if the NBA doesn't snap him up first.

Oden is truly a next level player. He is so intimidating he can alter a game with his first block. His injury may have been a blessing in disguise in that it forced him to move to his right when facing away from the basket lending a new dimension to his game. Though he is incredibly good defensively he will need to develop his offensive skills. Look for him to be scoring above 20 per game next season.
