Poetry: God

Maybe some of your wisdom.

I can't take this any more,
Where is life?
Left somewhere to rot?
Alone?
So here I am,
What use am I to you?
When confusion strikes should I shine through?
Or let your words be of noting to me?

Lord somewhere in the darkness lay my face,
Now surrounded by grace,
That shines like the sun,
And the son of yourself,

Here I am,
Give me purpose,
And a reason,
In this lonely summer season.
Where are your hearts lain,
Oh people to be of Zion.
Yet to be slain,
By Satan's willful sin,
Shall darkness still creep in,
Through cracks in our love for him,

Perfect yet imperfected,
Satisfied yet still to be.
Lord your love has come upon me,
Thrown me to the floor,
Enthroned me,
Crowned me,
Made me proud to be,
Yours,
And yours
I pray to be.
