Poetry: Sisters

by Michelle Brutvan

Created on: May 25, 2010

The two of them seldom talk

When they do it is mostly to disagree.

Their relationship seems feigned

Mainly taking place with animosity.

Time spent without speaking or seeing one another

Goes longer than the time for when they can abide.

They have always known this difficultly

Their personalities have always seemed to collide.

Constantly sniping and biting away

Can they ever come to find resolve?

Despite the adversity felt between the two

There most definitely is sincere love.

It is painstakingly expressed and often misunderstood

One must only hope it will someday turn towards good.
