Poetry: Our own world

by Molly Spinney

Created on: May 23, 2010

And I said 'hold me'

you said 'forever'

you said 'scared?'

i said 'never'

and we lay there

we had it all

neither thinking

that we might fall

from love's edge

from the top

we promised eternity

we couldn't stop

you said 'I love you'

and i replied 'you more'

and we lay awake dreaming

of the eternity in store
