Illegal immigration: How Arizona is fighting for Americans

What Arizona has done in passing SB 1070 should be very evident to thinking Americans. This state bill will hopefully result in reducing the number of illegal immigrants coming across the border from Mexico.

Arizona is a state that is not only fighting for its own residents but for all Americans regardless of the state they live in.

This action was deemed necessary by the refusal of the U.S. Government (U.S. Congress) to enforce existing Federal laws, secure the border and thus control the influx of those coming across the border Illegally.

There are those who have compared Arizona’s action in passing this bill to those of Nazi Germany during WW II that resulted in the holocaust. This is far out even for the ‘open borders’ proponents and indicates the fear that this action instills in them.

Failing to secure our border can be directly traced to political decisions that were made for the benefit of partisan candidates and the party itself.

We are dealing with highly placed leaders of this nation who have actually put their desires, ideology and partisan interests ahead of their fellow citizens and the nation.

All states that are being negatively impacted by this problem should also consider doing themselves and their residents a favor and enacting a law similar to that passed by Arizona.

Their law does NOT do anything that isn’t required by the Federal laws that are in force but just haven’t been enforced. Arizona deserves the support of all other states and the motives of those who withhold that support should be highly suspect.

Actual comments by Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen are appropriate here. These comments are taken from a May 1, 2010  article in the Tucson Citizen.Com:

“I’m Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen. I want to explain SB 1070 for which I voted yes. Rancher Robert Krentz was murdered by the drug cartel on his ranch a month ago. I participated in a senate hearing two weeks ago on the border violence, here are just some of the highlights from those who testified.

The people who live within 60 to 80 miles of the Arizona/Mexico Border have for years been terrorized and have pleaded for help to stop the daily invasion of humans who cross their property.

One Rancher testified that 300 to 1200 people a DAY come across his ranch vandalizing his property, stealing his vehicles and property, cutting down his fences, and leaving trash.
