I am surrounded by sapphire skies, velvety white clouds, and an elusive environment.
I have the most serene feeling inside of my heart, and every day is simply content.
I have no deadlines, or due dates, no difficult tasks to achieve, or reports to get done.
I have one simple assignment each and every day, which is to look in on loved ones,
And occasionally remind them that I haven’t gone too far away.
Where I am it never rains, and flowers are always in bloom.
My favorite foods are always available, and prepared just to my liking.
I never have to wait in line, or rush to get someplace on time.
The phone never rings when I’m taking my nap,
And my favorite television shows seem to always be on.
The weather is always great, and we have a 0% crime rate!
Some people may not believe me, and say such a place cannot exist.

I passed over just about 3 years ago. I was 61 years old at the time, and I had been fighting a losing battle for nearly 2 years. I was diagnosed in May of 2004 with primary bone cancer. The exact name they used was Fibro sarcoma, but no matter what they called it, it was going to kill me. The first tumor was discovered in the ball of my hip socket and the surgeons removed it. I underwent a series of radiation treatments, to kill any cancer cells that may be remaining in the area. The surgery on my hip took place in early July, and by that November I could hardly walk, and was experiencing pain in the other leg. I went back to the doctor and it was confirmed that I had another tumor in my left femur. I was informed that there was no surgery that could be done, and my only chance was chemotherapy.
My doctors told me that this type of cancer typically does not respond to chemo, but I wanted to try anyways. The thought that chemo could possibly stunt the growth of the tumor and give me a little more time with my loved ones was all I needed to make my decision. I went to the hospital on a Monday morning, and chemotherapy drugs were administered to me through an IV until Thursday afternoon, at which time I was released to go home. According to my family, I slept for pretty much 24 hours straight. I did not eat or drink, just slept. When I finally woke up I had no recalection of coming home from the hospital or of how long I had been home. I was vomiting all day for the next couple of days, and ended up becoming dehydrated. I was taken
